Copy this address into your browser mms://puffin.audubon.org/ wmtencoder/eaglecam2.wmv it is an eagle cam on a nest here in South Florida - nothing to see in the dark - no night vision tech. But the day is cool - there are 2 chicks and one is getting big enough to where you can see his head pop up from over the edge of the nest sometimes. enjoy cynthia (grozlykos)

I wish I could, but for some reason I cannot vote in that contest or even access it anymore (although the link to submit a photo works) I have written Votigo admin about it and hopefully I will be able to get in there again soon.

I LOVE your work! Every time I run across a picture that takes my breath away, it's almost always one of yours. :) If you don't mind me asking, what camera(s) do you use for these fabulous micro shots? (I'm on the market for a new camera.)

Thanks for the kind words! I use the Canon Powershot S2 IS and S3 IS (currently on its way back to the factory, sadly for repairs). They are light enough for me to pack on long hikes in rugged terrain and have good optical zoom capabilities (12 power). Be nice to have a DSLR and some good lenses but, alas lack the funds presently...Les
